"It's been pouring all day, and the sky is almost a uniform gray, hard to pin down without context. Ivan just cancelled on pizza lunch, which is just as well considering the rain. Also, I had a lovely time at breakfast with Janine, who has a cold and some serious bumps on her wrists, but otherwise getting better. I always need a friend with whom to share everything."
