The sculptural apse structures in Enter the Realm are new to Pierre’s practice. These exquisitely layered objects reveal their innermost secrets to the viewer upon each encounter. In Prophecy of Resilience and Persistence, 2022. Pierre’s protagonist is depicted kneeling before an Excalibur-like fire-bolt as a great serpent rises behind her. The entire scene is rendered in a deep blood red, a symbolically powerful color to the artist.
