Like a shooting star, or a comet with a flaming tail, the figure hurtles through space. As the figure ascends, she gazes back at the viewer as she passes. The recurring protagonist in Pierre’s work is constantly in a state of evolution. In Changed, we imagine that she reached another level of consciousness or self-possession.
