For each commission, the artist will make a bespoke tile arrangement for each commission using the range of elements—including brass tiles, woven ceramic tiles, ceramic gingham tiles, and solid black and white tiles.
This Indexical Tile work was first created as a permanent installation at the Art Preserve at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, WI. The artist was invited to create an full-room work for the new arts institution, which is scheduled to open in June 2021.Exhibitions
